| Watch Your Credit Card Statements For **FRAUD** |

**FRAUD** It Has Finally Happened To Me But Luckily My Credit Card Company Was On Their Toes...
Well I got an email from my business credit card company last week to contact them immediately because they believe my credit acct had been compromised.
I contacted them right away and yes they were right...3 charges on my card were not mine and all were done through the Internet. I must applaud them for the quick action they took to cancel my card. I called the fraud alert dept. as requested and within minutes I had a new acct. number and they immediately began their investigation.
I can tell you it really felt strange having my credit card in my pocket ( not lost or stolen ) and yet to still have false charges on my statement. The company within 2 days had credited my card for the false charges and are continuing their investigation.
I must admit that I had put a fraud alert on my card a couple of years back for better protection and it did work as I was contacted after 3 quick false charges all on the same day.
I guess we all need to be very careful as 99% of the time I try to use encrypted sites but if you are a professional hacker they are going to get you somehow somewhere. Just some food for thought....call your credit card company today and make sure you have a fraud alert on your card for any suspicious charges. I am not responsible for any amount of money ( not even $50.00 ) if my acct has been compromised but it is comforting to know that they were very quick in their actions....
BE CAREFUL EVERYONE.....IT CAN HAPPEN TO YOU EVEN WITH YOUR CARD SITTING IN YOUR WALLET OR PURSE.
